Being a tradeshow professional is not a 9:00-5:00 job. It is more like being an EMT, ready to spring to action 24 hours a day and then doing "whatever it takes" to open the show.

Many of us practically live in the office, or on our iPads and phones. With such irregular schedules it is nice to bring your dog to the office when you can so you get more fur to face time than you would otherwise.

My Golden Retriever, Sara Lou, likes to sit on the forklift with me when
I am unloading a truck or moving crates around. She lays on my feet under the desk, sometimes 10 hours at a time. She jumps up wagging her tail after waiting all day for that magic word "hike" which means she will soon be swimming in the creek. When I go out of town, she climbs on the bed next to the suitcase while I pack and has been known to get in the suitcase (leaving yellow hairs on all my clean clothes). She also likes to help load the van for installs and will sit in the copilot seat watching, hoping she can come with me.

I bet some of you have special stories about your Tradeshow Dog that you could share. This is the place! While your memories are fresh, write something about your dog and we will post it here for everyone to enjoy.
